Our History
The Kyabram Hospital originated in 1933 and moved to the current site in 1960. In 1995, a major development of the acute hospital commenced with Stage 1, being officially opened in October 1996. Stage 2 of the redevelopment project was completed in October 1999. We can now boast a modern healthcare facility that our Community can be truly proud of.
3 stages of major capital upgrades have occured at 'Sheridan', our aged care facility, in 2004, 2005 and 2007 - funded entirely by Kyabram & District Health Services (KDHS). A major Capital Fundraising Appeal is currently underway to obtain the $2.3million needed to complete the final stage of the upgrade.
Stage 1 of the Community Health major upgrade was completed in April 2008. This upgrade was also fully funded by KDHS.
