Shared Care Midwifery Services
The development of the new Shared Care Antenatal Clinic held at the Kyabram Regional Clinic, has meant local Doctors and KDHS are providing women with more choice and control over their experience of pregnancy and childbirth, and an emphasis on meeting the holistic needs of pregnant women. The Clinic offers women of Kyabram and district the opportunity to share their care between a Doctor and a Midwife. Through the Clinic, Midwives, Doctors and other health professionals will work collaboratively, demonstrating their commitment to women in this area.

Domiciliary Midwifery Services
Domiciliary Midwifery Services are available on discharge. This service allows mothers who are capable and coping well with themselves and their baby, to go home early. A midwife will visit you at home to check that you and your baby are physically well and doing great.

Home help services are available by arrangement with your Midwife, Doctor or Maternal and Child Health Nurse.

*Midwives are on duty 24 hours a day, please do not hesitate to phone the hospital on 5857 0200 and ask to speak to one at any time.
