Volunteering
Would you like to be a Volunteer?
Do you find that you have an hour or two to spare whether it be weekly or monthly?
Do you enjoy extending your company to others? Then maybe...
Volunteering is for YOU!
You will reap the rewards of being involved with our residents in Sheridan, our aged care facility and our Planned Activity Group (PAG).
Here at KDHS we consider our volunteers to be very special people and they are treated the same as the rest of our staff. We have recently introduced a special orientation program for our Volunteers so they can also be made aware of OH&S issues, quality control and what to do in case of a fire.
There is no age limit and no special education requirements. We would like to welcome people from all walks of life particularly parents as children bring much joy to our residents in Sheridan.
If you would like to come in and learn new skills in our admin department, kitchen, maintenence or any other area or department - please contact Gwen Campbell to see what we can do for you!
We look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
