When a referral is received our friendly staff will call you to discuss your referral and make an appointment. You may be charged a minimal fee for your visit, dependent on your income. We do ask that clients notify us if they are unable to keep their appointment as some services do have waiting lists. Clients who do not attend an appointment or give less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation may be charged a fee.
Mental Health Support Assistance Package
In May 2016 the Victorian Government annunced a Mental Health Support Assistance Package to deliver supports to farmers and the borader community affected by the global fall in milk prices and the decision by Murray Goulburn and Fonterra to retrospectively cut prices paid to producers. The package will ensure dairy farmers and their families experiencing emotional and financial stress are able to access the support that they need to help them get through challenging times.
