As the After-Hours GP (AHGP) service celebrates its first anniversary this April, we are pleased to share an update with our community. This milestone provides an opportunity to both welcome new members to the team and acknowledge those who have been part of the journey since the service commenced.
Our dedicated nursing team—Janine and Vicki—have been integral to the service from the very beginning. Their commitment, professionalism and compassionate approach have played a significant role in ensuring a consistently positive patient experience. All patients attending the service are invited to provide feedback via a post-visit survey, with 92% of respondents reporting a positive experience. This is a strong reflection of the quality of care delivered by our team.
Our medical team has also evolved over time, with four experienced General Practitioners currently supporting the service. Dr Prasad has been with us since opening with Dr Salamisaadatloo and Dr Agostinelli joining the service over the past few months. These clinicians bring a wealth of knowledge from both metropolitan and rural healthcare settings, strengthening the service’s ability to deliver high-quality, responsive care to our community.
We look forward to continuing to grow and enhance the service in partnership with our community. The service operates Saturday from 1-9pm and Sunday from 9am-5pm and is fully bulk billed.
