Regional Health Services from Cohuna, Echuca, Kyabram and Rochester & Elmore unite to participate in a leadership program aimed at developing leadership attributes and management skills amongst aspirational and emerging leaders and thereby create organisational and culturally empowered leaders.

Fifteen health professional managers and aspiring personnel were led by GoTAFE to reconnect with their own leadership strengths and hone their skills as sustainable leaders of the future.  The course content was developed and directed to include existing and emerging leaders looking to build strong leadership skills and collaborative relationships to lead and manage effectively in the rapidly changing health service environment.

Four staff members from Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) participated in the program. Joanne Hammond, Shani Clark, Kelsey Hamilton and Alisha Parsons celebrated their graduation of the course on Friday 11 November, 2022.

Acting Director of Primary Health and Service Innovation, Ashley Watson said “This leadership program was a fantastic opportunity for KDHS Emerging Leaders to build and grow their leadership skills and support personal growth and development.”
