Education Team

  • The KDHS Education Team provides education and training services within Kyabram District Health Service which involves program coordination, clinical teaching and clinical supervision. The team plans and delivers multidisciplinary evidence based education sessions for students, graduates and new and existing staff across all areas of the health service.
  • KDHS has a strong commitment to growing its own workforce. This is evident through the health services commitment to providing work experience to secondary school students, offering clinical placement to tertiary students, and supporting staff to grow and enhance their skills and knowledge.

Our Objectives

  • To be the primary resource within KDHS for supporting and facilitating the development of clinical and non-clinical skills and knowledge within our workforce.
  • To promote and deliver multidisciplinary education and training that is based on identified needs and utilises contemporary methods of teaching and learning.
  • To recognise the importance of work experience, undergraduate and graduate clinical placement and support education programs that grow the KDHS future workforce.
