Accommodation

Sheridan is a 42 bed aged care home including 12 beds in a dementia-suitable wing.

All rooms have a private ensuite and are fitted with a lockable built-in wardrobe, electronic bed and mattress, over-bed table, bedside chest of drawers with a lockable draw and an arm chair. A television is also provided and there are overhead lifting rails for safety. For the comfort of residents, each room is also individually temperature controlled.

Residents can bring or purchase their own armchair and furniture, but must have the item assessed to ensure it meets all OH&S Standards. It will then be tagged and approved for use.

Residents are also encouraged to bring some personal belongings such as photos, pot plants, ornaments, books or music player.

All linen is supplied and laundered by KDHS.  You are encouraged to bring your own bedspread, doona, rugs and cushions or pillows if you wish. We do have a large verity of quilts and rugs at Sheridan for you to use.
