Accommodation

Sheridan is a 42 bed Aged Care Home, including 12 beds in a dementia-suitable wing.

All rooms have a private ensuite and are comfortably furnished with a built-in wardrobe, electronic bed and mattress, over-bed table, bedside chest of drawers and an armchair. A television is also provided, along with overhead lifting rails to support safety where required. Each room has individual temperature controls, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your comfort.

We encourage you to make your room feel like home. You are welcome to bring or purchase your own armchair or other furniture. For everyone’s safety, these items will need to be assessed to ensure they meet relevant health and safety standards before being tagged and approved for use.

Personal belongings such as photographs, pot plants, ornaments, books and music players are also welcome and can help make your space familiar and personal.

All linen is supplied and laundered by KDHS. You are welcome to bring your own bedspread, doona, rugs, cushions or pillows if you wish. Sheridan also has a wide variety of quilts and rugs available for you to use.
