Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is located in Northern Victoria, just over 2 hour’s drive from Melbourne.  Located in the ‘Food Bowl’ of Victoria, Kyabram is a progressive town in the Goulburn Valley with a population of 7,300.Situated between Echuca and Shepparton, we enjoy affordable housing, quality shopping and services, excellent educational facilities, glorious weather, great lifestyle and the sports and attractions of a regional centre.

The Kyabram Fauna Park is a major attraction which children enjoy visiting. Kyabram’s parks and gardens provide lovely surrounds with playgrounds, walking tracks and BBQ facilities, and the Grey Box Reserve is a lovely reserve within the town boundary.

Kyabram has a Community & Learning Centre (KCLC) which provides a Neighbourhood House program and also offers Childcare, Medicare and Centrelink support.

Also in the town are two P-12 Colleges, kindergartens, daycare options and activities for the children, organised by local associations.

Excellent sporting facilities include Kyabram Football Netball Club (which play in the GVFL League), two public golf clubs, grass and hardcourt tennis clubs, basketball stadium, netball courts, lawn bowling clubs, croquet club, bocce club, regular harness racing trials, pony club, Rangers, Scouts and other social clubs.

If successful for a position at KDHS, prior to commencement you must provide a National Police Check (12 months or less), a Working with Children clearance, and evidence of full immunisation records as part of the on boarding process. All staff must have COVID-19 vaccination evidence.
