About

The Integrated Health Promotion team at KDHS provide a coordinated approach to the delivery of a range of primary prevention initiatives and programs that address the health needs of the community.

These primary prevention interventions are delivered as per the Integrated Health Promotion (IHP) Plan and reported to the Department of Health. The following priority areas guide program delivery & strategies for 2021-2022;

  • Family Violence and Gender Equality

  • Healthy Lifestyles – Healthy Eating, Active Living

  • Reducing Tobacco Related Harm

KDHS prevention work is also aligned with strategies of and delivered in partnership  with the Healthier Campaspe, Campaspe Family Violence Action Group and the Healthy Heart of Victoria project.
