The National Disability Insurance Scheme is called the NDIS. The NDIS is a new way to help people under 65 years of age with a disability to get care supports. The NDIS is designed to help people with a disability achieve their goals

To become an NDIS participant a person must:

  • Have a permanent disability that significantly affects their ability to take part in everyday activities
  • Be aged less than 65 years when you first enter NDIS
  • Be an Australian Citizen or hold a permanent visa or protected special category visa

Kyabram District Health Service is a registered NDIS provider for the delivery of disability support services to participants eligible for the NDIS.

Kyabram District Health Service is registered to provide:

  • Early Childhood Support - formerly known as Early Childhood Intervention Services
  • Therapeutics Support
  • Home Modifications
  • Social Support
