What we do
Our KyConnex Social Program provides a range of activities during weekdays. Our programs are designed to stimulate, motivate and encourage social interaction, community connections and independent living.
We can offer activities including:
Exercise programs such as walking, yoga or gentle exercise
Social activities including day trips
Special interest activities such as books clubs or board games
Art & Craft activities
Gardening activities
Activities that support the interests of community members
Who is eligible to attend?
The program is open to people living in the Kyabram, Tongala, Stanhope and Girgarre areas, and is funded by:
Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACCPYP) and
For people aged over 65 years, a My Aged Care referral is required. Our team can assist with this process or any other funding/eligibility queries.
Cost
The KyConnex Social Program is subsidised by the government and there will be a small daily cost to attend Your account will be sent to you every month. Out of pocket costs are $5.00 for half day programs and $10.00 for full day programs.
Fees will vary if you are on a Support at Home package(SAH). For SAH prices, please contact your service provider / Care Partner to discuss.

BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL FOR ALL SESSIONS
Call 03 5857 0236 or come in and see our staff to book. Please ensure that you make a booking in advance to secure your attendance.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur full fee payable
Outings may incur additional costs - please ask staff when booking for any further information
Sessions commence at 9:30 am for morning sessions and 1pm for afternoon sessions
