Free mental health and wellbeing support is available locally

KDHS is helping connect our community with free, accessible mental health and wellbeing support through the Mental Health and Wellbeing Local service in Echuca.

The Victorian Government is establishing Mental Health and Wellbeing Local services across Victoria as part of the state’s reformed mental health and wellbeing system. The Echuca service provides free treatment, care and support for people aged 26 years and over who are experiencing mental health or wellbeing concerns. Support is also available for people who have co-occurring alcohol and other drug treatment and care needs.

No GP referral is requiredAccessing support is designed to be simple. You do not need a referral from your GP or another service, you can contact the service directly.

There are several ways to get started:

Call 5412 6600 – a referral can be completed over the phone.

Walk in – visit the Echuca service at 222 Ogilvie Avenue, Echuca.

Email – contact EchucaLocal@mindaustralia.org.au and the team can get in touch with you directly.

MIND consults available at KDHS
