Here is Sarah’s Volunteer Story…

In May, Sarah Groat and her family made the move from Tasmania to Kyabram. Once her children had settled into their new surroundings, Sarah was eager to give back to her new community and joined Ky Health as a volunteer.

Sarah is one of our valued Lifestyle Volunteers at Sheridan and, in the short time she has been with us, has quickly endeared herself to both residents and staff. Her weekly visits, caring nature, and sunny personality bring a ray of sunshine to the Sheridan Lifestyle Program.

Sarah says that volunteering provides her with a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and feel connected to the community. With a strong history of volunteering, she is passionate about helping others and making a difference. In addition to her role at Ky Health, Sarah also volunteers at the Kyabram Plaza Theatre.

We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm, kindness, and positivity Sarah brings to our residents each week. Thank you, Sarah, for helping make Ky Health and our community a brighter place.
